Hi there, I’m Akira! I’m a smart, adventurous, and all-around fabulous Great Pyrenees with a love for life and a nose for excitement. If there’s something new to learn, I’ll have it figured out in no time—whether it’s a new command, a new routine, or the fastest route to the treat jar. I’m a true lover of the outdoors and I enjoy long walks, backyard explorations, and keeping an eye on the perimeter—just in case anything suspicious (like a rogue leaf or potential squirrel shenanigans) needs investigating. My curiosity keeps me engaged with the world around me, and I love exploring new places with a wagging tail and a happy heart. I’m a playful lady who adores playing with my fellow Pyr brothers, and my dream home would be one with a large canine companion to share in my adventures. That said, I prefer my four-legged friends to be large like me—no small dogs, cats, or tiny humans, please! I’m a friendly girl and I love meeting new people, but I like to take my time warming up to new canine friends. But once I feel comfortable, I’m all tail wags and happy zoomies. I was born around November 2020, and when I’m not out exploring, I know how to dial it down and be the perfect snuggle buddy. My idea of a perfect evening is lounging at your feet, soaking up the calm, occasionally nudging you for a well-deserved belly rub. With my excellent house manners, I’m a good-natured companion who’s a delight to have around, making your home feel complete. Adoption fee: $325 (Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, heartworm test, rabies, distemper, parvo and health certificate for travel). Adopters located outside of Texas pay the cost of transport to an independent transport service ($250).
